ABOUT ME.
I’m Marcello, an Australian creative who’s spent over a decade art directing, creative directing, and occasionally trying to explain what that actually means to relatives. I’ve worked in Melbourne and London, across everything from small digital startups to big old ad beasts. I’ve helped shape brands, lead teams, and deliver work that’s acclaimed, surprising, and unique. Picking up accolades along the way.
I’m a hybrid creative, someone who can ideate as well as craft. My focus is on art direction, disruptive experience-driven campaigns, and producing pitch decks that win business.
Carbohydrates have also been a major calling. I co-founded Cubitt House, a much-loved group of London pubs, and opened my own restaurant, The Italian Greyhound in Marylebone, which I recently sold. The restaurant game taught me how creativity shapes human behaviour, and how the smallest details can shift mood and spark authentic connection. This non-traditional insight drives my work as a creative, giving me the ability to craft not just ideas, but experiences people remember. Across those ventures, I built brands, produced authentic and honest creative, and stayed calm when something went down mid-service.
